msi mobo c media cmi9880l audio chip

Since I succesfully installed Vista, it doesn;t recognise the onboard sound chip above. I've tried installing drivers from CD & from MSI website( XP drivers) but when I run setup, Vista says there is no audio device installed so it wont continue.
Any ideas what to do now??

Hi Toni Windows Vista ´doesen´t support XP Device Drivers Have a Look at MSI´s Website to find out,if there are Vista beta _drivers or try C-Medias Website. The Reason:Vista uses other Architecture of Device Drivers. Good Luck Ingo
